If the BDO could find a sponsor to pay, as it's rumoured Premiership Rugby do, then they'll have a better chance of getting on FTA TV.

I still think BDO have bargaining power - they have some of th best players - the best location - and tradition in their corner - you dont get booked at guld hall if you cant draw a crowd -

So obviously it's on channel 5 then ☺
Thinking about it they share cricket highlights with Sky and have some deal for Rugby with BT Sport.
So there is a bit of history in them doing deals with 'other' Darts providers

Who films the EFL highlights they show ?

and didn't channel 5 want to bring back Bullseye recently ?
C5 gave up Football League highlights when their rights expired at the end of last season.

Is now on Quest the free channel owned by Discovery Eurosport.

But that's the major problem the BDO need to resolve who is likely to want to sponsor them even Winmau don't want to be associated with them.

If there was some major company can you see anyone going along for a chat to a Lincs County home game and coming away saying 'they could smell the money' ? Who as a major draw do the BDO pitch at some sponsor as the face to give them maximum exposure ?

Hopefully it’s not on amazon after the fiasco & bad reviews there tennis coverage is getting ( the grundiad) & some on here implied they were a fantastic outfit after I mentioned them, & they wouldn’t sully themselves with wdf darts, better go with Eurosport & quest then

If , as it stands, Mr Potter isn't stumping up a few 100k for the prize money do you think the tickets will be cheaper this year ?

More expensive. They'll need to find that prize money from somewhere.

I see that Mr Jacklin has posted on the Lakeside Darts FB page this morning.

Has he posted to answer the numerous questions about what is happening with Lakeside tickets, I hear you ask?
