Clearly nothing is sorted, you would be announcing it this week with players from all over the world in one place.

The two men that gave us all a true “Lakeside Classic” in the 2018 final top the BDO invitational rankings table, with ‘Gladiator’ Mark McGeeney at No.1, ahead of the double-defending BDO World Champion, ‘Duzza’ Glen Durrant. Following an impressive season on the circuit, former World Cup Singles champion ‘the Quiff’ Jim Williams is in third place on the seeding list, with twice Lakeside semi finalist ‘Sparky’ Wesley Harms seeded fourth.

The 42nd BDO World Professional Darts Championships takes place from Saturday 5th to Sunday 13th January 2019. Venue, ticket and broadcast information will be announced soon.
So in one paragraph they're saying it's at lakeside and in the next the venue will be announced soon.

Confused.com plus broadcast info, broadcast says TV to me.

You can broadcast something on the internet. I reckon they have nothing at all sorted yet, would have been announced otherwise.

the open is being played on 4-7 October but no mention of the qualifier.
So I'm none the wiser.

Probably needed to know dates/venues etc before now. Who can blame them?

Good news for the BDO as 2 nice English lads will get in at the expense of Johnny Foreigner.
