Allowed to play in both.

Had word from PDC they have no restrictions in the contract and neither do BDO.
Well that pissed on Ginge's fireworks....... :)
Erm, no. Common sense has prevailed.
Do you think it's time the PDC relinquished their restrictions?......

No I think it's fair enough that the men can't play in both events in the same year tbh. Women are just a novelty so it hardly matters.

Anyone else want to make a medical diagnosis? This is the forum where this kind of thing happens, of course.

I think he broke his leg in three places. Needs an operation this week. There will be then a healing process, followed by physiotherapy.
Dr Chris.

Has anyone started a GoFundMe page to help pay his medical bllls?

If only there was a BDO player who could help him with advice on how to get a huge stack of free money in just such a situation.

Look on the bright side. If he is out they can give Hankey a wildcard.

Course he will go, even if he don't win a leg still gets prize money. Didn"t Whitlock break ankle just before Ally Pally a few years back?

Would it not depend on if it is his standing leg. I am sure you could play darts in 6 weeks time if it was your non standing leg. But then again Cadby was forced out of tournaments with a broken non throwing arm.

Apparently Lakeside have sent an email out offering up the room in the on-site hotel to anyone "for the first time". Can't imagine many of the players have agreed to pay to stay on site, then.....

Carry On Finder...

Having had a broken ankle, I can't see anyway he'll be on stage at Lakeside AND fit to play.
