Having had a broken ankle, I can't see anyway he'll be on stage at Lakeside AND fit to play.
Hmm. The initial story was it happened in a nightclub. Methinks this story isn't 100% true ;)

Why? because it differs from your version of events?

I part sponsor two darts players one who plays on the Challenge Tour and one who does not. Those from Lincs making statements are not being open to the truth once again! Birds of a feather...

The story was questioned on Fanatics with the predicted responses and battles.

He fell down some stairs in a nightclub.

Well I say fell, he was pushed. Because he was being naughty.

Couldn't possibly comment Ginge or some potato head from Lincs might be liable for a slap from "me from Barcelona!" ☺

The kerb may have been in the nightclub, of course. At the top of the stairs.

What do you think about the doctor's prognosis based on your memories of your broken leg?

He should be happy he's getting some attention, in fact more promotion than he got for winning the Masters.
Just think of the drugs he could hold back and use for the World Champs, bit of morphine ,loads of Tramadol and loads of either Gabapentin or Codeine. which is the only way he'd be able to play if he's had his bone stretched and pinned.

Why does it matter how he did it. Surely the important thing is how the WC is going to be weakened massively by the absence of the World Master.

Course it doesnt matter. But Uncle Des said his version of event was 100% correct. Bit of a cover up methinks.

You think maybe its just a tactic by Smith Neale and he will turn up with two good legs.

However he broke his leg there is no doubt he did it in or out of a club at 3 in the morning ...and Paula has criticised him for being in a club at 3 in the morning the night before a tournament ...and says that because of that he should not receive the Lakeside prize money should he have to withdraw...actually a fair point to be fair..
