Did he not have a EHIC( European Health Insurance Card)? Which i'm sure was free when i got mine.

Though ruptured appendix,he's lucky he didn't fly as that would have been catastrophic.

2 and a half grand is the target.
Won't his now issued EHIC card cover all of the medical costs?

The £2,600 (maybe more if you look at the non-ranking events) he won in Jersey the other week would probably cover it as well. Pleading poverty, pfft.

Read the page :WWWW:
I did, I only just woke up. :-( (Is there anyway I can get away with saying I wasn't wrong but in an I'm right kind of way ;-) )

Oops you right though, quite a lot of expired cards for something you get free. What happens with this after the Brexit?

No insurance or EHIC card, hard to feel much sympathy really. Basic things to check when going abroad. Especially if you do it on a regular basis.
Desperation creating a donation page.
Obviously doesn't get sick pay at work either? The Royal Mail are pretty good at paying their employees for sick time.

I have a bank account that includes travel insurance. Saved us a fortune over the years.

Eldest got taken in to hospital in tenerife once and they told us she had pneumonia and would be in for at least three days and that they could not release her until they had been paid. 1 phone call and 1 hour later we had our kid out who merely had a viral infection. Money grabbing spanish wankker doctors.
