All very good but does not mention anything about the change in the quality of the boards over that time period.

Not only that, although the sample is a fairly reasonable size, the variance is still within what you would expect to see if the misses were going in random sections of the board with a slight bias to the left, which is probably down to the the laterality of the players
i.e. At the moment his data suggests that darts missing a bull attempt are fairly likely to hit the 25, but any darts worse than that could go pretty much anywhere - which is exactly what you would expect from badly thrown darts.
