I’m quite surprised with how many of the younger players have made it so deep at Qschool.

I think it emphasizes the point that darts will become increasingly a younger mans game, they have the hunger and desire to practice with such massive rewards on offer now. Did you see the 11 year old kid at the world masters, checked out 301 in 9 darts, double start and didn't get away until his 3rd dart on tops, then hit 105 and checked out 156...it's on youtube, now was only 1 leg but I was dumbfounded someone so young could step up and do that on stage in front of the camera!

Did well. Thought his 5-2 win against Rydz was a gokd one given how well Callan played all day.

I would expect Aspinall and Rydz to get their cards at the end of the week.

What a long a gruelling day it has been for these players...no wonder the younger ones triumph.

And yet Rod Harrington gets slated on here for talking about the fitness aspect of the game.

Wow, not heard of him but a quick check and can see he's won his card before and kicking around the tour for a few years with limited success, last 16 of the UK open the stand out performance.

And Aspinall and Rydz are well on the way to gainig a card too via the order of merit

As do BDO players when 'it's a long day' used in events like the Dutch Open.

It makes perfect sense that physical and mental sharpness can give you an edge. No idea why that idea seems so alien to some. That being said Cadby is hardly a re model for that where body shape is concerned. Young lad that age should never be that size.

See on twitter Mace is accusing many of “clogging up” the field.

Isn’t that the reason why the tour card was brought in, in the first place? That anyone could pay membership and then an entry fee and play Phil Taylor in the first round of a Players Championship and lose 6-0?

Well good that Cadby won a tour card, so the strongest player is out now and there is room for the rest of them to get far in the next coming days.

I can well see why Durrant wouldn't want to do QS now...talent wise he's well capable of getting a card..he'd be the best player there.....but mentally after winning Lakeside to focus on that field and those amount of matches when everybody wants to beat the world champ would be very hard...

Like with Rydz, something seems to have clicked with him. He had a poor season away from the World Series events.

Well Mace should know, he spent his career clogging up events.

He never won a major tv title in his life, and now has the audacity to knock those that have every right to attend and give it a go.
He is the first to spout the bdo mantra of darts for all, they pay their money etc, so the same applies to those at q-school.
i am so sorry for my actions these last ten years, i'm going through a tough time
