Funny how he describes the BDO as professional!

What’s that got to do with anything
That he doesn't have the financial burden to worry about?
Thats not the issue he is having.....

Is he eligible to enter BDO events, he has played pro tour since the beginning of the BDO season so would this not mean he can’t play for Lakeside points?

He's got to get a card first before he can even think of that...and it's obvious he's not in a position game wise and other things , not financial, to do that at this moment...

I think he'll enter opens anyway and certainly won't try to get to Lakeside...

Nobody of any real note (except Hankey and Eccles) has gone back over there and entered loads of opens. McDine only did a few, Stompe barely bothered with any. Hamilton will no doubt do the same

I think he's referring to local opens, he plays these whenever he's struggling.

Yes sorry, I should have specified I was on about Opens carrying Lakeside points, anyone of note who has headed back in that direction recently have been players struggling for form. Eccles was probably the last player of any note who was still in any decent form as he got to Lakeside after going back.

Doesn’t get a card - can still enter BDO Events and able to have the best of both worlds.

but remember he does say this is all with one goal: q school 2019. To quote Andy, "you have to take 2 steps back" (ie bdo and opens) "to take 1 step forward" (ie pdc next year.).
Rumour is having a break in Aussie when QS on , may well be having an exbo or 2 .....who knows .

There is a few of them out there. More than 1 or 2 demos I can assure you of that.

Yes I heard Taylor doing 30+ , Peterson Hamilton , Whitlock , sensible decision for Andy guaranteed money , would miss uk qualifiers only , so if he didn't get tour card wouldn't be better off , a year off will come back stronger without being out of pocket .

Wonder if he booked the exbos thinking he didnt have to bother doing Q School and then that little plan backfired? ;)

These tournaments down under were arranged 6 m9nths ago.
It's Taylor, Harvey, Petersen and Hamilton who are playing in the tournaments.

To be fair he's getting more money for these than he's made in last 2 years.
