As you say pretty shocking night of darts with only three 100+ averages and four 95+ ones all night.

For anyone interested, the last three 100+ averages at the BDO World Championship were: Durrant in the quarter finals of 2018, Bunting in the second round of 2014 and Adams in the first round of 2007.

If this trend continues we should expect the next 100+ average in a semi final.

May get one in early rounds but over longer format the 80 odd avgs will prevail.

Wade looking very comfortable on stage, and this coupled with his quality double hitting might make it difficult for Raymond to get in front in this match, unless Barney can up his average to the mid 100s.

On a diffrent note Wade winningast week really has seen him get back to his best cant remember the last time he was hitting so many 180 and when that is combined with his mental strength on stage everyone better watch out in the coming majors. With Taylor gone their is no reason Wade can’t equal or better his TV wins in the coming years. As MvG isnt and never will be near the level of dominance that Taylor was.

Wade has proven big-stage bottle.

Correct, takes defeat well (bit like Novak Djokovic in tennis who also gets a lot of stick) and seems a decent guy. He isn't the first and won't be the last to have issues with Adrian Lewis, so that's nothing to judge him by.
