Watching on ITV4 having just finished work and have managed to avoid the scores.

Barney having a shocker on the doubles but just hit one to trail 5-2. Am posting for those who are in a similar position to me and watching the delayed coverage.

Ando well off the boil, losing the last 5 legs since my previous post.

Well that was a bit of an anti climax, but Raymond did well to hold his nerve on his last legs of throw.

Cadby must have lost as he was arrested for fighting after the match

That should speed up the visa decision.

And people wonder why the UK authorities are loathe to let him back in.

Wonder if the pdc will comment on this? And ban him?

Felt sorry for him the last couple of weeks. I like folk being given a 2nd chance in life when they have a 'bad' past.

But if all this is true : what a fool!

Oh dear. What a tool and what a waste of a talent.
Oh well, his loss.

If this is the real deal I hope his professional darts career is over.

Huge shame to see Cadby disgrace himself, and not for the first time.

Think unless the process is already at the issuing stage, Corey can kiss goodbye to his visa.

It is all very well to cite his stupidity, but I am reminded of the Scorpion and Frog story.

Anyway: good crowd on tonight.

watched the darts not knowing the scores. Enjoyed it.

understand little interest over here but a post earlier showed how important this event has been to the local scene.

PR Disaster. Hope the rags don't pick up on it.

I wonder if Australian sports stars are above the law like British ones appear to be.

Another 1 who has changed his darts. Can’t understand this guys trying to fix something that’s not broken
Just out of curiosity do the players get a a percentage from every set of darts they sell?

In general I don't think so. My guess is they are equipped with slightly differing sets, or even new setups and they get a fixed sum for that or even because it's pre-determined in a contract. The big(ger) names that is.

Our Dutch commentator has worked closely with Max Hopp to set him up with darts that fit him best (in theory), but I doubt all players are going through that kind of thorough process to end up with a new set that actually is an improvement. Most players just go and try new darts in practice, generally when they're not getting their best results and think it's because of 'bad' equipment.

Having said that, my interest in these tournaments is really low this year. Can't even be bothered to watch the summary most of the times. Wouldn't Oceania/South-East asia be better off with an actual big tournament being held over there?
