Paddy admitting the venue is bigger than the event, there.
No not at all, although I don't think it will help their cause if they move to a different venue.Ginge wrote:Paddy admitting the venue is bigger than the event, there.
I agree, when that finally happens I dont think it will be a decision they have any control over. Although I await the Fanatics starting a "Save Lakeside from the developers" Gofundme pagePaddy McGinty wrote:No not at all, although I don't think it will help their cause if they move to a different venue.Ginge wrote:Paddy admitting the venue is bigger than the event, there.

Sadly, also the ONLY plus.devosteve wrote:100% yes. And if oche is right re Potter then 100% at lakeside.
The history and tradition of the place is a majorplus for the BDO.
I am expecting Durrant to move where he belongs to after the end of Lakeside.... The PEE DEE CEE...MancheStar wrote:If it’s on Eurosport etc next year Durrant would be crazy to stay on he’s in his prime deffo needs to move before the ship sinks.
Sadly I believe Glen in that the ship has sailed. However bunting announced he was staying after he won it and still moved. Of course the prize money situation was different then. I do wonder if Glen is mentioning the contract and unfortunately having to stay as a tactic. It clearly paints the BDO in a bad light. Maybe Mac has advised this tactic while he works behind the scenes to free Durrant from the clause.Dreamboy501 wrote:I am expecting Durrant to move where he belongs to after the end of Lakeside....
