Re: Bauhaus Dutch Open 2-4 Feb, 2018 - Assen, NL
Was Barney's win in 2006 his last tournament in the BDO? Thought he switched straight after the Worlds!
Re: Bauhaus Dutch Open 2-4 Feb, 2018 - Assen, NL
It was on SBS6 that year so I guess he wanted to participate.Addicks Fan wrote:Was Barney's win in 2006 his last tournament in the BDO? Thought he switched straight after the Worlds!

Those were the days without Q-School, etc so he switched after Dutch Open - you could switch whenever you wanted back then! Didn’t Robert Thornton go to PDC mid year??

I agree the hardest event to win I think you have to play 5 or 6 best of 5 legs matches before you get to longer format in last 64oche balboa wrote:Fantastic amount..... it’s an achievement to win this event

The registration for the BAUHAUS Dutch Open Darts was closed on Monday evening. We are pleased to announce that this year there will again be a large growth in the number of participants.
The BAUHAUS Dutch Open Darts had a total number of 5113 players last year. This year we have passed the limit of 5,500. For the first time in the 'Bonte Wever' more than 3000 men have registered for the mens single tournament and we also see high numbers of participants in the other categories. The ladies single tournament has almost 350 participants and more than 350 youth players will participate in the Dutch Open Youth. Finally, the first paradarts tournament at the Dutch Open starts with 31 paradarters.
Below, you can see the numbers at the moment. These are subject to change and are not final.

Those are amazing numbers. So many people playing darts. Would be nice if the disabled darters got one more entry for a nice 32 player field.ChrisW wrote:The registration for the BAUHAUS Dutch Open Darts was closed on Monday evening.
