That last leg by durrant showed he has no bottle
It was like the masters final all over again
Did Duzza have match darts?? No I don’t think so thus hardly lost his bottle...
He threw first in the leg, went something like 9 darts without a treble, and on his throw did not even get to a double.
That is choking in my book.
The reality is price was the better player and should have been 4-0 up earlier.
i am so sorry for my actions these last ten years, i'm going through a tough time

Re: PDC Grand Slam of Darts- 10th-18th November 2018- Wolverhampton
Looks like I missed a great afternoon of darts.
Got the Searle, Williams, Schindler and Mitchell results wrong, but had a feeling that Price would beat Durrant today.
Will try and watch the Price vs Durrant match later, but judging by the comments on here, there was a bit more to the match than just the result.
Can anyone summarise for me please.

Price went 3-1 up, duzza played really well to make it 3-3 completely ignoring price and his antics. Duzza hits a checkout for 4-3 and gives a bit to Price, Price comes straight back with a 180 in the next leg and duzza falls to pieces in the last 2 legs
Price was winding himself up to the end of the 7th leg, think if duzza did nothing he would have carried on getting wound up and Duzza would have took it 5-3 but instead he gave a bit at 4-3 and Price went 180 and gave it straight back to Glenn

Except you’re missing the vital info that in the 7th leg after Duzza went 4-3 up both players patted eachother, there was a fist pump before the last leg (don’t always see that) and then a nice embrace after the match.
Oh and Price said in his interview what a gent Duzza is.
Apart from that you’re spot on

Funny definition of choking when he didn’t have a match dart...
Anyway, Price was the better player and it was a great game, best of the event so far!!!

Price does everything to get a reaction, the minute he gets a reaction from a usually calm man he knows he has him and that’s exactly what happens, Duzza fell to pieces in those 2 legs straight after giving price a bit
Re: PDC Grand Slam of Darts- 10th-18th November 2018- Wolverhampton
Duzza celebrated to the crowd, he didn’t give a bit to Price!!!

Re: PDC Grand Slam of Darts- 10th-18th November 2018- Wolverhampton
We're celebrating Independence Day in Poland, so it would be fantastic if Ratajski beat Smith... But Michael's definitely one of the best players right now and will be desperated to win the group and avoid MvG in the next round.
The best game of tonight's matches for me is however Anderson vs White. Ian played great yesterday, he has a good season, but can't quite doing well against top players. Gary didn't show all of his class in his first game... The question is if he's on average form or didn't give his best because he wasn't forced by his opponent. This is interesing one.

Impressive stuff from Unterbuchner there.

So anyway, Durrant lost to Price.
If anyone didn't know.

Glad to see Michael Unterbuchner give a better account of himself tonight. Good young player and think he will go into his last match with a winner takes all shoot out against Ian White.

very solid game from Uncle Buck, bit jittery in a couple of parts but nice finishing on tops. So far Jim williams has been the biggest let down from the BDO side.

Good 118 checkout from Robson to break Murnan and get match back on throw at 2-1 down.

Murnan looking in a bit of trouble here. Although Joe would have the darts in the deciding leg, Robbo big favourite now.
