Apparently, according to what I have heard, that superlative is being used ad infinitum on other forums, including by yourself, so clearly has resonated in forum land.Garry Murphy wrote:it was not funny the first time you saidssjsa wrote:Extraordigary performance from Ando.

Great day of darts.
9 ton plus averages and some fantastic games.
Looking forward to the last group games and still so much still to play for.
Always love this tournament as it is brings out the biggest seethe of the year from the poster known as Garry Murphy.
Who can ever forget the match between Hankey and Whitlock in 2013 which resulted in ex forum member Rout posting this video.

Bunting the only player who came through the quals to win a game so far.

If Adrian Lewis, Daryl Gurney and Chizzy for example were there instead of hime, webster and murnan, the bdo would not be getting out of their groups
But didn’t Hine, Webster and murnan qualify from the same competition that Lewis, gurney and chizzy entered??
When watching the profiles it was interesting to see bdo players ranked 1-7? (apart from the guy ranked 80?) playing against pdc guys ranked 70 etc.
basically you have the cream of the bdo (re rankings or winning an event) but you don't in the pdc.
BT I am enjoying tonight. Great event.
The quality of the floor qualifiers, with the exception of Bunting and Keegan Brown has been pretty poor, and as you articulate, does not represent the cream of the PDC.
Conversely the BDO have ensured that their 8 representatives are as good as they could have selected.
Erh no it isn’t...

The biggest bottler of the weekend was Dave Boy Green
A good showing today from the BDO Lads, What is expected from them against 3rd tier players really.

This is being a complete disgrace to my good friend. This is being like the Sluzba Bezpieczenstwa in Poland. Hiding cameras showingk my good friend in his sleeping room is not being good.ssjsa wrote:Great day of darts.

Robson is out after Clayton beat MVG, As there is no way Murnan will beat MVG.

Sorry if I'm being dense, but Robson could overturn the leg difference if he somehow thumped Clayton. Is the tie-breaker not leg difference?oche balboa wrote:Robson is out after Clayton beat MVG, As there is no way Murnan will beat MVG.

Correct, Big Robbo needs to win 5-1 or 5-0 though.
Amazing only 3 of the 8 groups have a straight shoot-out to go through, can’t remember so low a number that often?? Despite what some have said about the qualifiers, quite clearly most players in this event are evenly matched hence everyone is beating eachother!
Re: PDC Grand Slam of Darts- 10th-18th November 2018- Wolverhampton
A 5-1 win could do it, but I don't see Robson even beating Clayton, let alone trouncing him.
Re: PDC Grand Slam of Darts- 10th-18th November 2018- Wolverhampton
He's put a few pounds on, but he still looks nothing like Bunting.BOOM wrote:Wade's starting to look like the 3rd best player in the world all of a sudden...

BDO possible progression:phil davies wrote:Haha just caught up with this thread the seethe at Price winning is hilarious. Even more so because he was clearly the better player and the two embraced at the end and are very good freinds who actually do a lot of exbo work together. Anyway I had Price to finish top of that group anyway and Duzza to be second.
As for the other games some real good performances about Clayton amazing as was Bunting and hopefully he keeps that up as I have him each way at odds of 125-1. Barney was very lucky and seems like he doesn’t give a shit again. Wade v Brown was another amazing game and hopefully Unterbuchner can beat White to qualify. Hopefully he does Q school aswell as another good German player is needed in the PDC.
Looking at the groups think we will see only two BDO players get out of the group those being Durrant and Unterbuchner.
Robson: beat Clayton, plus 5-1 or better, or Murnan beats van Gerwen
Smith-Neale: beat Ratajski 5-2 or better, Smith beats van Barneveld
Harms: beat Brown
Unterbuchner: beat White
Williams: beat Hopp 5-3 or better, Wright beat Payne, Payne+Hopp 4 legs or less.
Durrant: beat Gilding, or Price beat Whitlock and Durrant lose 1-5 or better.
Mitchell: beat Bunting 5-3 or better, or better result than Suljovic, and beat Bunting 5-4 or lose, and better result than Suljovic and Suljovic+Mitchell 3 or more legs
McGeeney: beat Van den Bergh
So, yes, Durrant likely, Unterbuchner reasonable chance, others need to play well and get help from other players below par.
Re: PDC Grand Slam of Darts- 10th-18th November 2018- Wolverhampton
Think more than two will get through, a couple only have to beat their opponent and they will be through.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, once the BDO lads are all out I lose interest in this.
