McGeeney at 2/1 to beat Dimitri is too big, and no way should Max Hopp be a 1/2 favourite against Jim Williams.

Think both Dimitri and Max will win, so will not be taking advantage of those odds, but would encourage those who fancy either of the BDO players to win tonight to take those odds..

Maybe agree about Hopp but don't see any value on McGeeney honestly, based on how well Dimitri is doing so far, and McGeeney was really hit and miss in the first two games. Even if he plays like he did in his 2nd game, I'd still expect Dimitri to beat him.

Not my opinion on who will win the matches as articulated above, merely pointing out that the odds on the BDO players are higher than they should be.

That makes it slightly less unbelievable, although he still looks way older.

phil davies wrote:Good to see Gilding playing well here. Also on the betting front good odds on the over 180’s for tonight’s matches most are over 3.5 which should be achieved in all the matches.
I thought that as well. Was above evens for over 3.5 on the last game and this one.

This is a great match. Durrant looked out of it after missing the bull for a 130 checkout, with Gilding sitting on tops. Both averaging circa 103.

Brilliant match. Thought Gilding had blown it when missing his 1st 2 darts on D8, and from the angle on tv looked like he had missed the 3rd one.

Hoping Price beats Whitlock and Durrant goes through to the knockout stages.

Price just needs to lose 5-3 or 5-4 to still win Group but put out Durrant.

So to confirm, Price wins then Duzza is through, Whitlock wins 5-1 or 5-0 he’s through, Whitlock wins 5-2 it’s a 9 dart shootout, Whitlock wins 5-3 or 5-4 Duzza is through??

They dont do 9 dart shootouts any more.

And no any Whitlock win gets him through as he would have won 2 games.
