Barney won’t be there this year, there is no chance unless he has a great worlds

Said in another thread but an early exit and i can see him retiring and following Taylor round doing exhibitions

He will be at the PL. until theirs a 2nd consistent Dutch player Barney will get a wildcard

Raymond is without a doubt amongst the 5 greatest players of all time, and Sky have picked him every time for the PL, but I agree with you that unless he does something special at the Worlds like beat MVG in the Last 16, he will not be picked.

He was very poor in this GSOD, and as much as I hope I am wrong, I think this tournament showed us that Barney is finished as a top echelon player.

My money is still on Wade to win this, Ratijski looks dangerous and could do some damage
Fun fact: Ratajski's 10k will put him at 54 on the OOM. Not bad for someone without a tour card.

Funny when one of the games you (I at least) expect the least of turns out to be the nights best and most exiting game. Really good battle between Brown and Harms. That's the beauty of darts.

Not a bad shout if he has a decent worlds, Can please a crowd and is decent to watch, My thinking though is somehow Max Hopp will end up the pick if it was a choice between him and Dimitri

He is 31 according to wiki.
That makes it slightly less unbelievable, although he still looks way older.

And with only 4 Pro tour appearances as well !

Barney has been finished as a top echelon player for years. He has had the odd good game every now and then but then again so do most players.

I still think Barney will get into the PL myself as long as he doesn't go out in the first two rounds of the Worlds. Even then he still might

he just went fucking nuts and lost the plot. And now he can't back down so is stuck in Fanatics where no one listens to him.
