Strangely poor stuff, both looked like they didn't even want to be there!

Expecting Wright to really show up here, is due a big performance.

Wright changing his darts again. :omg:

If Whitlock can get off to a good start, Peter's confidence in this set up will quickly diminish and can see Simon winning this match comfortably.

Hoping for a whitlockl win. Good that he hasn't just faded away, like some, from the top end of the the game.

Only 14 going for a Whitlock win in the prediction comp. Looking good for them so far.

Wright paying poorly, again.

Tonight's standard has been poor, and we've had a 9 Darter! Ha.

Averages after 10 legs:

Wright 93.63
Whitlock 92.26

Surprised that Wright was ahead on the averages, but shows that Whitlock is not playing that well, and if he let's Snakebite back into this match, he could throw this away.

Whitlocks finishing and confidence seem back to when he burst on the PDC scene.
Thinking of one.

That’s because the big two weren’t playing tonight - they are both a massive gulf above everyone else right now, simple as.

So the only player to beat Simon Whitlock so far was Duzza, just saying

Totally amazed that Dimitri is even on the stage at the moment after what he just told Arjan what he is going through in his personal life.

Pretty average darts tonight( Dimitri's 9 darter exempted) . Don't think any of the 8 players played especially well and the 4 losers must be regretting how they played, as it would not have taken a lot more for either or all of them to progress.

But hey ho, on to tomorrow when the quality half of the Last 16 draw takes place. Expecting Wade and Ando to progress pretty comfortably, but think the other two matches will go close.

Delighted once again, every Whitlock win I must cherish! Played quite well, was averaging something like 97/98 half-way through that. 2 poor legs dragged that down to 95 in the end, but crucially scored and finished that one dart better than Peter's.

Wright did well in the group, feel like he just needs to get back to the darts he used before the summer and stick with them. He's not had a bad year, shows how far he's come that he'll be disappointed with 2018 were it to end now, but just needs the right dart for the right tournament.
