Demoting them to the Australian tour seems a bit harsh.

Hmm it's a dead link now. This is what he was saying...

"Gilmour has hit back, saying: "If there's any charge against Gary for whatever reason, we will fight it. He is completely innocent of any wrong-doing. There’s talk that he entered the exclusion zone on the oche. That’s not true at all. There is no definition in the rulebook anyway of when the exclusion zone starts or finishes. The fact is that Price was celebrating in an intimidating manner while walking back up the oche towards his opponent. No other player celebrates in that way. They always shout or raise their fist while on the way to collecting their darts out of the board or to the side of the stage walking back to their table. Yet Price walked directly back up the oche towards Gary and celebrating shouting and screaming right in his face. Now that is intimidation and that’s not tolerated in any sport, let alone darts.""

I think he is justified in his assessment.

should not have pushed him, but looked to me like gando saying stop the histrionics & go & fish your darts out the board & get on with it, has been said before mvg started this & others have copied it & taken it to another level, personally i like to see a pumped up player yes 180 fine but for a ton / ton 40 no thanks

Would be a fair enough statement if it mentioned. 'Gary should not have physically pushed his opponent whilst he was on the oche.'

He was temporarily suspended pending the decision and then fined £3,000 and received a suspended 3 month ban.

They have a match referee. He should have complained to the referee.

He did after the first session according to his manager's account.

Love how some posters on fanatics (a suspicion they may post here!) are hinting ando may be moving to the bdo and actually asked the pdc about this after the match with price.

Me thinks some 'naughty' boys post on there to wind folk up.

No one bit!
