Behave, they were lapping it up. Even going on just then about how the person who the trophy is named after would have loved it.nikkiboy wrote:Price is a complete and utter arsehole and if the PDC allow this kind of shite to infect the game it will find itself off the TV very soon.

Are you saying you would shake hands with price after all that bullshit??devosteve wrote:Ando's fans booing price.
ando fed into that.
Ando storms off without shaking hands because he lost.
ando the new Phil Taylor. Arrogant but popular.
well done price. Great victory.
You obviously don’t play much darts. Behaving like price would cause bother most places.

Any thoughts on how Anderson acted? He likes to make his comments in interviews as well.nikkiboy wrote:Price is a complete and utter arsehole and if the PDC allow this kind of shite to infect the game it will find itself off the TV very soon.
He can give it but he can't take it.
smug when wining, crying when losing. Gary 'the power ' Anderson

So the future of darts is players who hit a ton, turn and scream into the opponent's face and take an age to clear the oche. Makes darts a laughing stock, Olympic 'sport' my arse.Ginge wrote:Behave, they were lapping it up. Watch the winning double again, price goes to the crowd, the markers then back to the crowd, at no point does he go to Gary to shake his hand. Do you want Gary to stand there for an hour whilst he faffs about?devosteve wrote:Any thoughts on how Anderson acted? I'm with sandman, price is an utter twat and bad for the future of the game.

Said the same thing to the misses, if ever there was a game to celebrate the new Bristow trophy it was that, he would have loved it.Ginge wrote:Behave, they were lapping it up. Anderson accepted all kinds of crap from Taylor when playing him yet rolled over and had his tummy tickled whilst laughing his way to defeat...totally spineless to say anything against Taylor....full of little digs about other players...Price is over the top no doubt but all players celebrate and the other player doesn't take the oche that quickly...Anderson lost the plot and not for the first time and was the main reason for the bad feeling at the end..glad Price won to be honest

its not a game in the local pub.
price acted like he usually does (some don't like it, I get that). But and was quick to go to the oche to make a point.
and how would it go down in the local pub if your opponent pushed you side?
My view: because folk like Anderson they are sometimes blinded to his arrogance, his smirking to his family and friends and his disrespect to other players. Remind me of Phil Taylor fans: boo your opponents but don't boo me.
cracking result.

Probably this is being the last post from me, as ye mods are being treating me like as Garry says giving warnings all the time.
I have been drinking the Zubrowka with my neighBournemouth but tonight we are falling out. He was talking about the how you say in England, the swinging, but didn't realise he meant his Alsation. Now know he is a very bad man and understand why he is not welcome here.
Oh and by the how you are saying the way, he has told me he is going to be trying to get back on the forums he has said he would never post on again
I am now knowing that you are being right to be banning this prick.

I should adapt Prices style for my future "real life" competitive chess games. Gonna scream and roar into my opponents face like there's no tomorrow after every move that I make or at least with any piece we exchange/I capture.nikkiboy wrote:So the future of darts is players who hit a ton, turn and scream into the opponent's face and take an age to clear the oche. Re: PDC Grand Slam of Darts- 10th-18th November 2018- Wolverhampton
No fan of Prices stage antics but looking back over tournament he has been involved in some of the best matches and done it the hard way. Anderson looked a bit weary at the end and got rattled by the gurning/screaming and should have not bitten to it.Easier said than done. Overall a good tourney and plenty of sub plots going into the World Champs.
Re: PDC Grand Slam of Darts- 10th-18th November 2018- Wolverhampton
Was there any interview from Anderson at all?
Re: PDC Grand Slam of Darts- 10th-18th November 2018- Wolverhampton
Interesting what Price was saying at the end about knowing that he’d win the tournament when Anderson knocked out van Gerwen as Gary can’t handle him. I do wonder if MVG would have folded in the same way, I suspect probably not.
Might have just been the bravado talking, of course.

Do that shit in a tournament and your likely to get put on your arse.
Mvg celebrates as much as anyone, but price does shit to try to put the opponent off. That for me is not right.
