Extraordinary 152 checkout from Ando.

Was said on commentary, the minute that 1st dart went in, you expected Gary to take out the 152.

Thought that was a good interview with Gary on Sky.

Highlight was his dig at Price. Articulating that Clayton was the best Welsh player.

Watching about 8 minutes behind, but what a 142 checkout from Clayton to break throw and lead 4-3.

Fighting words from Scotland's number 2 there.

Would be great to see Gary vs Gezzy in the final.

Ando would need very little motivation to play his best darts and smash Price.

The big two ease through, no surprise - not another single player who can touch either let alone play the game these two do and win majors.

Must say I'd expected at least a little nibble on this bait.

Disappointing.

Seen a comment saying Price ignored 2nd handshake, having watched it I dont think he did. Pretty sure Whitlock was waiting to shake Russ Brays hand.
He perhaps could have been more gracious towards Simon at the end but maybe a bit nit-picky. Picking a fight with the crowd isn't always going to work, was lucky to win but played well.
Think the crowd started after Whitlock score incident, dont think the crowd seen what happened and just seen Prices reaction.
Yh you're correct, most probably wanted Simon but definitely did after Price's reaction to winning that leg. So not sure there was needle between the two players at all in fact.

Yes I liked that comment, he's not far off either. Clayton's had an excellent 12 months. No doubt Gary was disappointed another "old boy" Simon as he labels themselves as didn't get past Price last night, was not to be :(

Excellent averages for the quarter-finals, 2 ton-plus, 5 between 94.28 and 98.58. Over the long format where it takes at least 80 minutes to win a game, that's impressive. And Unterbuchner has great potential for the future, nobody expected him to come through his group let alone take Wade apart.
