Anderson (in his first game) was the highest average , Whitlock the lowest, and there was a FOUR way tie for most 180's: Anderson and Cross (both in their first games), Barney and MvG.

Poor night on the predictions for me. Only saving grace is getting my Double points prediction of MVG beating Smith 7-1 right. Every other result wrong.

Why do people pick a draw as their double points match? Its usually the outcome less likely and therefore you are more likely to lose points?

MvG (his first game) was the highest average , Barney the lowest, and MvG (his first game again) hit the most 180s in a single match (5)

Neither tiebreak (30/156) was needed this week, a total disaster for most (48 out of 56 had a 5 point deduction), the two draws denting many people scores as well as a surprise win for Whitlock, and thrashings in the other two games, nobody at all predicted a 7-1 in either of them except Ssjsa who was then canny enough to pick it as his double points game too.

Well that was an awful week for me!

In honour of the BDO performing the quite enterprising step of getting a title sponsor to not pay in any actual money to an event, I have changed the opening post a little.
