PDC Asia Tour
Re: PDC Asia Tour
One for the howlers thread?
That the prize fund doesn't add up to $10k or $10,040?

Entries for this open today. Apparently the field will be limited to the first 256 entrants. Not sure if it will reach that high though.

Re: PDC Asia Tour
They’ve confirmed the old 4 Asian qualifiers for the Worlds have been scrapped. The 4 Asian places will come from this oom. So would seem the expanded worlds will not be from Asian players. Maybe more tour card holders will qualify?

I was thinking that I bet top 2 in DPA table and that end of year masters event winner maybe a separate Canada qualifier

2 weeks till the entry of the first event closes and 102 players have so far entered. A lot of Koreans.
Seigo Asada, Christian Perez, Thanawat, Lam, Leung, Lim, Muramatsu all entered. Atif Hussain has also entered.
Players from Korea, Japan, Singapore, Philippines, Thailand, Pakistan, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, and Malaysia so far entered.

Would be nice to see the Chinese lad from the worlds.MancheStar wrote:Thanks Jolly all they need now is Lourance Iligan and Harith Lim and you have all the big names of Asian darts.
What happened to Scott Mackenzie? Qualified for the worlds a few years back through the pdpa. Won a match, and think he either would have got a tour card or free entry to q-school or something but then just seemed to disappear. Doesn't even feature in soft tip darts.

Apparently there are "a lot" of players still waiting for visas before they confirm entry.

Wonder if we’ll see a full field of 256 with 2 weeks to go?
