Superfluous there from Peter Wright, 105 average (which technically was 108 until 4 misses right at the end), and is looking pretty invincible so far.
Such a class act is Peter, look at how long he spends signing autographs afterwards, brilliant to see and the reason he is so popular - has time for everyone. Has had a good year despite not many talking about him, and will have too much for good friend Wizard, Suljovic/Webster in the semis with that kind of performance replicated.

An extremely likeable quarter-final line-up. Genuinely wouldn't mind seeing any of the 8 lift the Phil Taylor Trophy come Sunday night, would be surprised if it's not an all Scottish final given the longer & more relentless nature at this stage of the event, but you never know in this game!

Another ridiculous interview by Wright after the game

I think JDZ has the game to go all the way, hope its him and Anderson in the semis.

Missed most of the matches but back in time for Wright/Huybrechts game. 3-2 at the break to Wright but Kim looks like he's up for a game.
However every chance his lame attempt could backfire as both Snakebite and Kim currently over a ton average.
Nibble nibble

I'm not dismissive of his obvious talent.phil davies wrote:It’s deffo looking like a Gando v Wright final is on the cards now. If so hope Wright wins it to shut up a lot of idiots on forums and social media who are completely dismissive of Wright’s talent despite him being the world number 2 and a major winner. My ideal final however would be JDZ v Mensur
I just don't like him.

To be fair to him: his interview with LiveDarts was a lot better

Nostradamus under no threat, whatsoever.WizardofozFan wrote:Expecting Wade, Wright & Cross to progress relatively comfortably tomorrow night, although you never know! Couldn't call Suljovic-White - that should be the match of the night in terms of going all the way for me.

I'm not having this whole MVG is not a great player psychology from Wright.
Re: 2018 PDC World Matchplay- Blackpool- 21st-29th July 2018
Wright has the ability no doubt, we've seen so many drop out of the top 32 and ergo out contention then out of the main tour that he has to be special to stay where he is. He is a very consistent performer and I think that is the key to his success, never brilliant (OK maybe onece or twice) but you know exactly how he will play before he steps onto the oche.phil davies wrote:Yep but plenty are dismissive of him saying he only up their because he attends all the tournaments etc.BlueSpark wrote:I'm not dismissive of his obvious talent.phil davies wrote:It’s deffo looking like a Gando v Wright final is on the cards now. I think it may be time for JdZ to have one of his bad games. Gando / Cullen is like phil says.

I've gone for the match treble on Chisnall tonight. I know highest outshot is a bit of a coin toss and all that. 11/4.Wubbalubbadubdub wrote:I think it may be time for JdZ to have one of his bad games. Gando / Cullen is like phil says.

There seems to be some misinformation. The “best finisher in the world” won 11 legs, but I’m reading his highest finish was 40. How is this possible?

Wright still sleeps under his collection of Phil Taylor pictures. Nice thing; no good players on the circuit nowadays but how about the number of majors Wright has won?ChrisW wrote:I'm not having this whole MVG is not a great player psychology from Wright.

I'm having a blast on Chisnall to hit 10+ 180's, win and a bull finish at 5-1.

Same old shite Colin lollyd use to get. He won the world match play & was ranked number 1 for a reason he was a top class dart player.
