2018 PDC World Matchplay- Blackpool- 21st-29th July 2018
Re: 2018 PDC World Matchplay- Blackpool- 21st-29th July 2018
Whitlock was poor, that's some serious fan above to find so many positives in a 16-5 blitzing.
Patchy soring, dubious finishing and gave up the last couple of legs. Going bull - bull on 100 to break Wright was stupid. Regardless of scoreline.
Yes. I lost my 16-8 to Wright bet that I had doubled with 16-10 to Mensur from the first game.

Redbit is absolutely correct, these were the stats at 11-4 as it says to begin with. Whitlock bumped his average up another 4 points in the final 6 legs.fling wrote:Not sure how The Redbit has calculated his averages but they are incorrectssjsa wrote:Courtesy of TheRedBit.

All entitled to our opinions. Simon was poor in the first session no doubt, but really picked it up in the last 16 legs, was unfortunate to run into an inspired & unbeatable Peter Wright.MrLil8 wrote:Whitlock was poor, that's some serious fan above to find so many positives in a 16-5 blitzing.

If you were 15-5 down against a man not missing and you'd just hit the bull for a 130 finish and two bulls for a 132 finish, I reckon you'd be despondent too! It's a credit he didn't give in prior to this! Likes of Wade, King, Smith would have given in once Snakey got to 10!

First massive crack of thunder and lighting in the North West so it shouldn't be hot on stage tonight. On paper looks like a walk over and a close one, but hopefully i'm wrong and we get 2 crackers.

Looking at the above stats.
Clear standouts for me are the quality of Snakebite's finishing against the relative poor finishing of Gary, and the quality of Ando's scoring.
Think Peter will win tonight, and if Gary can double better, he will get the better of Mensur.
Hoping for an all Scottish final, but would not begrudge either Jeffrey or Mensur a place in what would be a well deserved opportunity to win their first Major.

Spot on there ssjsa - an extremely likeable last four line-up. Would love Snakebite to lift the trophy tomorrow night, but Gary deserves one too for sure. De Zwaan has been player of the tournament and Suljovic such a hard-worker and has performed so well again this week.

Phil Taylor has been a breath of fresh air in the punditry/commentary box. Not making too much of it about himself, which some would have expected him to be given he's the greatest darts player ever, has always had a cheeky sense of humour & wit which he's brought to his comments so far as well. Mark Webster was not bad, Taylor more interesting & entertaining though overall.

So Wright turns up in trousers covered in hotdogs and scores 5 with his first visit.
There's got to be a BDO related joke in there somewhere.

He looks either ill or totally smashed does Wright. Way off the pace here. though Mensur is just ploughing on

As I read it, de Zwaan told the reason in an interview with RTL7. That tweet or the thread below does not seems to give the reasion, it wasn't shoulder treatment as it seems? Dutch is a ghastly mix of (low) German and English, I was more used to reading it when I lived at the border back in the day...Wubbalubbadubdub wrote:Does it say what for, I can't read Dutch teddy ?teddybreak wrote:De Zwaan needed to go to hospital last night our interviewer says on twitter.
