Agree that the board is very poor.ChrisW wrote:My god the sisal coming out of the triple.
However Mardle historically has been less than objective when it comes to commenting on Unicorn products.

Another case of machined points tearing it to pieces.

Yes. It is not the boards which are the primary issue, but rather the darts which are being used.BlueSpark wrote:Another case of machined points tearing it to pieces.
Have posted a screenshot of the board as requested earlier, and it is not good, but the grip on these points just rip the board to pieces.

This is even worse than deller leaving chalk all over the board, they never changed it after 5 legs.ChrisW wrote:Third change of a board in one match?

Unicorn will be hoping that their own sponsored player will lose this match. He’s destroying that 2nd board too.
Does anyone know what points Kyle is using? Just to make sure I don’t buy them

Agree. Kyle's darts are the more destructive in relation to the board, than any other darts player.TheSandman wrote:Unicorn will be hoping that their own sponsored player will lose this match. He’s destroying that 2nd board too.

Have you seen how his first dart can hang in the board by a baw hair, yet not be disturbed by another two darts right next to the first one.

Both have machined points. They didn't change the board after the break. Just pulled out the bits of sisal showing.
They showed a clip of the ref doing it.

Barneys are not doing that much damage. You can see the mark where every single dart Kyle has thrown. Look at the doubles or even single numbers he’s hittingBlueSpark wrote:Barneys are machined aswell aren't they?TheSandman wrote:Unicorn will be hoping that their own sponsored player will lose this match. Kyle lost that 13th leg because of a lack of concentration. How the fuck does a professional darts player on 118 not know after a single 20, followed by a treble twenty that he is not on D19.

If the points are to blame then we’d see other manufacturers board rip up the same but we don’t!

It’s only unicorn boards we see in HD on tv.DavidB wrote:If the points are to blame then we’d see other manufacturers board rip up the same but we don’t!
Can’t really compare them to much.

You still see it if not watching the broadcast in HD though!

One for the stats people...still four matches to go but when was the last time not a single 100 average was posted in the first round of The Matchplay?
