5-5 at the break. Ando playing well now, and should step on the gas after this break and win.

The excitement and tension is much better when you are there compared to TV.

A guy sat behind me was shouting for West all the way through. Man, was he gutted!

A few folks a little intoxicated bit but no trouble and very few occasions where folks were chanting without watching the darts.

don't know how it came across on the TV but at the end gurney was shattered. West got off stage ASAP. But gurney stayed, hugged all the officials. The officials all left the stage. But gurney stayed up there for at least another 5 mins. Thanking crowd etc. Then came off and went to fans at the side. It meant something for him that's for sure.

Great afternoon.

That 25 checkout from Gary was absolutely pivotal.

5-5 at the break, but Ando still well below his B game, and needs to up his performance, or Bunting will produce an upset.

I still firmly believe that Ando is currently the 2nd best player in the world. ;-)

Exactly, it's a game of darts.
Anyone who thought MVG would win purely on his ranking is a wally.
There does seem to be some who think MVG will dominate in the way Taylor did, but with the increase in standard of opponents and travel and the like, he's not worth backing odds-on. Duzza is always better value. :darts
Only because there’s no strength in depth in the BDO. The PDC has many more players of the quality who could win a particular title. BDO it’s only 1 or 2. Is why he stays in the BDO as scarred of the competition so happy to take the easy money in the BDO.
Silly boy........that is not the case, MVG has started doubting himself, he will never dominate as once Taylor did.

Great result for Gary.

Always thought this was going to be a tough match, and with Bunting going off the boil, Ando was not really pushed in that 3rd session.

Job done, now for the winner of Barney vs Kyle next.

Again only for the stats people on the forum, but it does show that despite Bunting never really playing well, he did push Gary all the way.

Go on then I'll bite.

Against what criteria are you basing your critique of the standard?
