Josh Payne now only £2,750 outside the tentative Matchplay qualification spots with just 7 events to go until the cut-off for Blackpool. Jermaine Wattimena, Steve Beaton, and John Henderson nearly safe after this past weekend's efforts.

With qualification money added, Jelle Klaasen is back into a tentative Matchplay qualification spot on countback after winning through to ET8 last night. It was a less successful night for Meulenkamp, Noppert, Dekker, and Clemens, as they qualified for neither ET event.

For me, disappointing that we will see either Ratajski or Cadby making their debuts at Blackpool, and looking highly unlikely that Noppert will do enough either.

Clayton certainly the form horse - seems to have come from nowhere in recent months.

Whilst has little chance of getting into the seeded positions, imo is certainly a player the seeds will want to avoid.

I'm dressing up as Whitlock when in Blackpool. Anyone know where I can get a shirt at a decent price? They're all pretty expensive.

Pretty hard to get to the Matchplay in half a year though..Noppert's done well really and Ratajski virtually had no chance with no Tour card...with all his results so far Noppert will be there next year for sure..

Found this for you. £45 I guess is ok.

It is, but without his visa issues, Cadby would have been a near certainty imo. And Noppert would have been a great addition to the field. Not impossible for him to qualify, but hugely unlikely.

I agree..Cadby would have strolled in and I'd have loved to see him there..unfortunately I doubt we will see him play at all here this year now...and if Ratajski had got a card then I'm sure he'd have made it to... Noppert's time will come if not this year

Cadby is bad for darts - Great player - But dont like how he acts on stage - Too much like Bristow Painter and Manley - A great player conducts himself like Durrant Anderson Lowe - Just gets up there and plays good darts - None of this WWE stuff -

Jelle Klaasen opens up a £1,000 lead on Richard North for the final provisional Matchplay spot, although Alan Norris's spot in the seeds is far from secure, with 3 events to go before the cut-off.
