Although as her husband is on the board, methinks she is breaking rank and slaps need to be issued.

They all ready have equal pay in the PDC. No physical reason there should be separate mens and womens tournaments, though admittedly the divide starts right at the bottom at pub level. Maybe the grass roots should look into all leagues being unisex from the bottom to the top, then hopefully the ladies should grow up playing a better standard.

A sign of the times that this even got its own article. She is hardly a well known figure. Who really cares what she thinks.

It's not equal though is it, women cannot compete on the same level so it's irrelevant that they can enter, they can't win.

What about all those times were told that they can compete with the men? Are those people lying?

When the promoters of the Lincolnshire Open and Turkish Open pay equally, she would have a point. The journalist obviously did no research to discover this fact.

But same can be said about anyone who isn't of a standard to win. That's like saying someone from the midlands with a back injury that hasn't got a tour card should get the same prize money as the person who won the World Championship. You couldn't win. I couldn't win. Doesn't mean we deserve the same pay. We can however still attempt to play.

Why can they not compete to the same level?

I play in a mixed league and there are plenty women who play at the same level as the men,

A recent study of chess matches found that women play better against men than they do against women. Appears to suggest that playing a higher standard raises the standard. The continued gender separation in darts is holding women back.

Only a complete idiot would think at top level women would compete with men. Name one woman who could live with any of the top 5 men.. If they could don't you think they would of by now?
