Too early to tell I think. Still an entire season to go.

At least it’s back to it’s more recent October time and completed over a weekend.

But 3-7 Oct seems a long time - starts on Wednesday! Does this include Lakeside play-offs on Wednesday? Even if so with floor matches on Thursday it’ll mean reverting back (presumably) to top 16 men’s seeds in last 32 on Thursday, last 16 Friday, then quarters Saturday and semis/final on Sunday which seems better!

As for the poll on the winner, how about a poll on the venue??

again they give a sht about johnny foreigner...this wime its the week after the europe cup...another two weeks holiday on the trot for the players...difficult for most to travel to both tourneys especially if the players have to pay from own pocket...to much money in one month..even for the "rich" swiss...

You need to leave the bitterness behind - what you're really saying is you hope the stand-out player who battled through from round 1 wins the tournament as he deserved to, having provided most of the interest and a lot of the quality in the tournament.

Just as bad for England internationals especially those who tour
1st weekend Sept Vizcaya now big double header
2nd Weekend Selsey ( need to attend weekend )
3rd weekend BICC fixture need to attend
Then 21/23 brit open weekend
25/29 Budapest Europe cup
3/7 Winmau it's not just a pig for Johnny Foreigner Bukowski !

Trotter said one that "Winning £50 on the challenge tour has more kudos then getting to the TV of the world masters"
