Thought Junghans was Swiss?

Obviously found a loophole to get into the easier qualifier.
Haven’t been able to verify this yet but I read on Twitter that he’s actually German but has lived in Switzerland for years. He’s apparently applied for Swiss citizenship but for now he must represent Germany in PDC events as nationality takes precendence for them over residency.

Although yes, I suspect he’s not too upset about having to play in the German qualifiers instead.
he prefers to play in the south west qualifier...but at the moment he haven't got a swiss citizenship and no choice then...might he will get in the next two years the red passport and he can change...if he want (i hope 8-) )
He has played in the European qualifiers for a few years now so the rules must have changed.

Yeah, I suppose that might also account for why he wasn’t part of the Swiss team at last year’s World Cup of Darts.

Doesn't look like they have sport radar there doing the matches. Can't find the usual things they have up.

Might be a push in two years. Would have to start qualifying for majors soon and he is still along way from that. He has to aim for top 32 on the pro tour oom first that’s 31,500 currently. He will also have the likes of Noppert, Cadby, and any other player making a resurgence or young player making a break through. Going to be a tough road but he is finding his stride.

Like I said I reckon he will be top 16 following the worlds is playing great and defending hardly anything from 2 years ago and in this it looks quite top half heavy so a good chance for Hendo to make the semis possibly the final.
I agree with semi's but we need to see the other games of the bottom half. King was decent, Suljovic and Smith love the Euro Tour.

Looking forward to this match.

Great chance for Aidy to register a win against a Top 4 opponent, but think Cross will come through this 6-3.
