So it was nearly 1AM local time and the Euro Tour qualifiers were still not finished. Not the first time, probably wont be the last. Maybe an idea to start earlier....

In fact it's an disadvantage to the European Qualifiers for the first event. While the German (and other) Qualifiers could be in bed a for a couple of hours already. Not learning from last years mistakes, unfortunately. Hoped they would improve as well, as PDC (UK) really improved this year.

Why wasn’t Dart Connect used for the HNQ and EQ when it was used for the UK qualifiers ?

Probably because PDC Europe organise those, rather than the PDC. Plus they are already at the venue for the UK qualifiers for the rest of the events being held that weekend.

martin atkins (not the trina patient) is the worst player I have ever seen on the euro tour

At least 13 missed darts at a double,73 average and dropping.

Thought Junghans was Swiss?

Obviously found a loophole to get into the easier qualifier.

Menzies who won the British Open, Scottish Open etc says the Euro tour will be the biggest thing he has played in, not today cos a lot are at work but tomorrow will be the biggest.

The Shrooms wont like that.

Haven’t been able to verify this yet but I read on Twitter that he’s actually German but has lived in Switzerland for years. He’s apparently applied for Swiss citizenship but for now he must represent Germany in PDC events as nationality takes precendence for them over residency.

Although yes, I suspect he’s not too upset about having to play in the German qualifiers instead.

he prefers to play in the south west qualifier...but at the moment he haven't got a swiss citizenship and no choice then...might he will get in the next two years the red passport and he can change...if he want (i hope 8-) )
