Great result for Nicholson, but Chizzy was terrible in that 10th leg.

Paul Nicholson beats a top-10 player on stage for the first time since July 2014.

Paul Nicholson probably needs £3,000 more to qualify for Euros and about £2,000 more to qualify for Ally Pally. Not a bad place to be in in mid-June.

Good result for Adie tonight. Still has it, but unfortunately does not show it enough.

Its a shame really but his choice after all.

Great post mate!

You are SPOT ON - darts can’t be ‘worked out’ on a spreadsheet - just because someone is comfortable hitting big averages in one place, doesn’t necessarily correlate they will in another place.

That said, I think Durrant IS a class act, and would love to see him give PDC a bash.

When will Cullen start to string some top class consistency. He throws in some cracking performance like yesterday but doesn't follow it up enough. He certainly has the talent to win things but so far always ends up looking a long way from doing so.

great game there, both resembling the form that held them in the top 3 for years.
6-5 Lewis beats Wade, 106 vs 105 avg.

Looks like I missed a good afternoon of darts, especially that Adie vs Wade match.

Amazing game between Lewis and Wade!
Here are the combined leg averages from Premium Dart Data

Leg 1: 114.23
Leg 2: 92.13
Leg 3: 101.36
Leg 4: 103.03
Leg 5: 122.40
Leg 6: 135.86
Leg 7: 97.80
Leg 8: 95.23
Leg 9: 109.78
Leg 10: 108.25
Leg 11: 100.34

TOTAL: 105.78!

If both produce anything like similar levels of performance tonight, Lewis vs Wright should be a great match.
