I suppose it’s entirely possible that the quarter finalists didn’t have their full quota of guests and used them to allow some players to remain. It’s also highly possible that some name players were allowed to remain for the cameras.

All joking aside MVG is not the reigning champ any of the longest played and arguably biggest PDC majors. The 2 biggest ones the WC and Matchplay, nor the UK Open or WGP.
MVG has work to do for sure to put some of that right!

I certainly agree, mate.
Amazing really...World Championship...World Matchplay..World Grand Prix...UK Open..Champions League.....all big TV events.....none held by MVG ..5 different winners...predictable stuff this PDC darts..
ps I think he may hold a few of these come this time next year !
