In their quest to emulate all things PDC and prove they are worthy equals the BDO have announced this tournament is being played behind closed doors as all previous World Trophy Events have been.

'We invented the no crowd event gimmick several years ago even held a tour of our current world champions in 2010 which successfully performed to 0 paying customers which we see as the birth of no interest darts. It's shameful that the PDC at their recent UK Open Event have successful copied our initiative to exclude darts from the masses. Have these people no shame ?'
