Odd how nobody has attacked this post. Bizarre, even.
I guess we dont know who he is thats why.
I would like to quiz him more as the £15k is not correct per the accounts that have been published. If he is taking a consolidated view of both set so accounts then he is still a little bit out. The second statement is interesting but without more details impossible to know more.
We all know who he is
well I don't so your wrong there!

That was my guess (assuming I'm right in thinking he was Dartsfacts)

Bump,

.....nearly time for the y/e May 2018 accounts :)
(end of Feb at the latest)

I am expecting them to be ok actually, mainly because it is worth noting that there was no WDT in the financial year being reported. The 2017 edition was in May so would have been included in the y/e May 2017 accounts and the 2018 edition was in June '18, which will fall into the y/e May 2019 accounts. If we assume that the WDT loses money every year then this will be a good thing for the 2018 accounts being published.

But, the 2017 Masters apparently lost a lot of money??? (is that the year that Pauly was saying they lost £80k on it, I can't remember) so that could equal the sort of loss that the WDT suffered, which means the accounts being published in the end might be very similar and show little movement from 2017 accounts where they broadly broke even. (this is all assuming they received the second tranche of the Ch4 money in these accounts, discussed above but I am not going back over that again!)

thank God, this thread reminded me of what a dick he was. Was wrong about everything he wrote and contributed nothing useful whatsoever.

He's still a dick, he's just somewhere else's dick now.

Still not in...however the director changes are on there.

TERMINATED - John Weller, Wayne Williams
APPOINTED - Robert MacDougall, Colin Mcclements, Martyn Moore

All three, along with Des, have put their correspondence address as the Welsh industrial estate.

Never heard of Colin and Martyn, tbf. As for the former, well his input has been well documented on here :D

Who is going to invest in this dying organisation? They should take their £6000, do a runner and call it a day. Only then will I stock laughing at the laughing stock.

They are out.
As I predicted they are fine.

With the 2nd tranche of ch4 money and no WDT in the financial year then they made a very healthy profit (we don't know the exact profit as they don't need to publish detailed accounts). About £90-£100k, more or less matched with increase in cash.

As usual Pauly it looks like Pauly was talking bollocks last year when he said the Masters cost £80k in 2018!

Sadly as i said a while back, its next year's submission that will be more interesting as no ch4 money and a WDT that needed funding.
But nevertheless Des took over with £700k in the bank... let's see what he does with it !

I'm on the bus writing this and looking at the accounts so I may have missed something obvious.

On the bus? You need a better accountant :)

Joking aside. Still a lot of lolly in the account. Isn't that more than they had last time?

This was stated at the AGM, no?

Ah ,right. Don't know to be honest. Ch4 money seems to have covered it if it did cost that much.

At least we now know how much money Des has started with, let's see how it goes.....

Plenty to invest in the ladies game then. Good publicity scoop for Des when he does it.
