Pdc have said any player out isn’t allowed back into the sessions to watch and has to leave. I’m a bit pissed at that to be honest but that’s how it is I suppose.

Probably because they are no longer in the event and therefore for insurance reasons they are merely a member of the public.

As it's the sponsors and the broadcasters who put in the money for these things, the PDC had on real option other than to carry on regardless, crowd or no crowd. The tone of Uncle Bazza's tweet suggests there may be a change of venue for this (and the Players) in 2019. Sure venues across the country would love to host either.

As it 7 boards will they slightly shorten the 3rd round to best of 17 otherwise itv will have to hang round a bit for the draw for 4th round
