You always sound very bitter when the marking scheme is mentioned. Why would that be, as I don't believe you were part of the scheme at that time either?
Well it tool a while but I finally got my bite.

while this may upset some of m"learned posters, auntie still draws the casual viewer / new viewer, on chomecast & itv 4 you have to go looking for the darts to know its there & when its on, this tournament is structured / pitched to that demographic, not the aficionado, however it is enjoyed by all

From memory Spaceman was stabbed in the back wasn't he. Or to be less emotive, let down by friends.

True. I just like to use the term "stabbed in the back" as it usually gets a lurker rushing to the aid of Stubby and Chissy. Worked a treat this evening, yet again.

Correct - Charlie got the gig as Board Manager on the Pro Tour and the subsequent TV stage marking because of his old man being on the DRA. Never part of the scheme.

I thought it was something along those lines - cheers for the confirmation!

Interesting no one has made a fuss of the poor BBC production of this exhibition tournament - the messed up walk on music, dear me if that had happened on another stage...the music at the end of the game is dreadful and not getting the crowd going...

But then again it appears more people are interested in the British Classic and Open

Ignore Ginge Bruce, he's still bitter about being canned for his impersonation of a nodding dog whilst marking.
