Just in from work and looks like I missed a great afternoon of darts.

Gurney vs Ando must have been a good match.

Hopefully tonight will surpass the earlier session, before changing channels to watch the Joshua vs Povetkin fight.

Enjoyed the coverage.

place seems packed. Folk on balcony.

Presentation very good. Presenters doing an informative job.

maybe the consistently good quality of pdc darts on the TV doesn't give us many talking points.

anyway a superb 131 from cross earlier.

Does it matter? They fekked this place off and ran to their own private FB group after they stabbed Ahmet in the back. Fek 'em.

Question for the historians on the forum.

Other than every day since the introduction of the Champions League of Darts (Now 5 days) when was the last time that 3 ton plus averages had been achieved in any day live on BBC?

I can't stand Gurney, strongly dislike all aspects of his persona and he still doesn't even know the words to his own theme tune! But he is ranked inside the top 8 over a 2-year period with a major (somewhat luckily) to his name. Can be no doubting unfortunately.

If the QFs, SFs and Final were played on the same day, 2008 World Masters, but I have a feeling only the semis and the final were played on the last day.

Seems to be a lot of down talking opponents going on in the PDC elite at the moment.

You would be correct. Last 16 used to start at the crack of dawn Saturday and the quarters were in the afternoon. Event concluded Sunday with the semis onwards.

I think Kirk and Mark had already been taken on by the PDC, and were therefore no longer part of the marking scheme? Not sure if Charlie was ever a part of the initiative? I believe I wasn't a part of the scheme at that time either.
You always sound very bitter when the marking scheme is mentioned. Why would that be, as I don't believe you were part of the scheme at that time either?
