GARY ANDERSON is targeting a fifth televised title of the year at the Unibet World Grand Prix, as the Dublin event gets underway this weekend.

Fresh from his Champions League of Darts triumph in Brighton on Sunday, Anderson will look to add to his impressive 2018 trophy haul at the double-start event which will be shown live on Sky Sports.

Anderson was a finalist in the 2016 tournament where he lost out to this year's favourite Michael van Gerwen, but was absent from the 2017 event due to the birth of his second child.

The two-time World Champion is aiming to make up for lost time at the Citywest Hotel from September 30-October 6 but knows it will be a tough test to clinch the £100,000 top prize.

"I missed it last year and it will be great to get back there," said Anderson, who has also won the UK Open, World Matchplay and US Darts Masters in 2018.

"I'd love to win it and I always enjoy playing in Ireland.

"It will be a very hard game against Jonny Clayton. He's probably the best Welsh player at the moment, he's a nice bloke and class on the board.

"He's impressed me in the last couple of years and if he plays the game he can play he's one of the best."

Following his victory on the south coast on Sunday, the Scot is now planning to spend time with family and relax before flying out to Ireland.

"I'm looking forward to having a few days at home - my little man [son Tai] will love this trophy!" Anderson added.

"I'm over the moon to win the Champions League, it was a hard weekend and I struggled at times but came good in the end.

"I just turn up and play my game but it's going alright so far this year."

The Unibet World Grand Prix will take place at the Citywest Hotel, Dublin from September 30-October 6 and will be shown live on Sky Sports.

Tickets for the Unibet World Grand Prix are still available through Ticketmaster at www.ticketmaster.ie or by calling 0818 903001 (Ireland), 0333 321 9996 (NI & UK) or 00 353 818 903001 (International Customers).

I can do it later after work if it's not done by then.
I'm assuming same as last year, also with the caveat of 20 forum dart thread posts minimum to enter?

Unfortunately I am stuck on a plane at Bristol Airport, and doesn't look like I will get home tonight, so can't help with this. Looks like David is snowed under, so if Ginge could take this on, he would be doing the forum a huge favour and would be allowed to send David Owen as many scat pms as he wants, without fear of repercussions.

I can set it up in the morning.
However if I set it up I may aswell run the whole thing.
Actually just realised I'll be in Yorkshire next weekend so I can set it up just not run it.
This needs to be sorted by tomorrow am otherwise we will run out of time

Something about 10000 spoons.

Also, you'll find the sofa is great for hiding behind.
