Game over now as a contest. MVG winning that set after the shite he threw is a killer for Peter.

Did you quote BV by accident and are sure you didn't mean someone else?

No. BV is one of our most prolific posters and good to see him contributing to our threads.

Just as an addendum to my post, the Rambling and Bickering thread has been quiet of late, and BV's absence from the forum has been a primary factor in the lack of dialogue in that particular topic. ;-)

Wright content to be a runner up again.
No killer instinct, should have had MvG dead and buried the way he was playing in the first three or four sets.
Modern day Colin Lloyd, done well to get his ranking and will pick up a few trophies when the big boys have an off day.

Good quality final, Peter deserved more but did little wrong throughout. 91.61 losing average on double start equivalent to a 100 average over 7 sets so played well. A first Grand Prix final for the world number 2, proving he is still around for anyone who is ignorant, and capable of winning big matches.
