THE draw for the 2018 Unibet World Grand Prix draw has been made, with the schedule of play also confirmed.
The Unibet World Grand Prix will take place at the Citywest Hotel, Dublin from September 30-October 6 and will be shown live on Sky Sports with tickets available at
www.ticketmaster.ie.
Former World Grand Prix runner-up Rod Harrington conducted the draw which saw eight seeded players already in the draw bracket, with the remaining 24 qualifiers drawn out at random.
The £400,000 tournament will begin with a clash between World Matchplay semi-finalist Jeffrey de Zwaan and Kim Huybrechts, with reigning champion Daryl Gurney beginning the defence of his title against John Henderson later on the opening night.
Sunday will also see three-time champion Michael van Gerwen face rising Irish talent Steve Lennon and 2016 finalist Gary Anderson take on Jonny Clayton.
World Champion Rob Cross will begin his quest for the £100,000 star prize against Steve Beaton on Monday night, which will also see arguably the pick of the first round ties take place as world number nine Michael Smith faces former finalist Adrian Lewis.
Two-tie winner James Wade will play sixth seed Mensur Suljovic, while world number two Peter Wright will take on Steve West and last year's finalist Simon Whitlock will meet James Wilson.
