What is the discount code? Is it "mushr00m"?

Why would knocking £3.75 off the price of a ticket the week before suddenly make you change your mind?

Totally desperate.
When the viewing figures come out, it may well work out that the BDO would have been better paying the viewers to turn up to the event in person.

Should we all be saying the event is going to be a huge success, just to keep them all happy?

Next time I count the tickets I'll add a 0 onto the end of the count, for their benefit.

If we are getting stick because we are highlighting the deficiencies and incompetence of the current BDO board then so be it.

If the members of this so called fanatics group are happy for the organisation to be losing circa 80k in going ahead with an event which they have done next to fuck all to market , and still blame TSOD, so be it.

Might be a novel suggestion, but why don't the BDO start taking total responsibility for, and admitting their accountability for the tournaments which fall within their remit.

What next?

TSOD being blamed for no England Team at the last World Cup?

Maybe the Fanatics could blame themselves for not actually going to it.

I wonder how the new chairman is not getting any of the blame for this and all the blame is being pointed at the outgoing directors

I thought it was des that had got the guy from Preston involved and a spot on the board? Surely it was him who booked the venue and event then?

Can't blame the venue, they have had it on their FB and Twitter pages a number of times and they have all their other events to push from time to time as well. No doubt they are happy with their room hire fee and will staff the event based on the sales anyway.

Up to the actual promoters of the event (the BDO) to do the actual proper promoting.

Might be my fault, I was baiting the hook and nibbles came flying in. Nearly had to go and get a bigger net.

Yes we know who you are! Don’t mind criticism of bdo or England anywhere , but not some of the unfair slating of players etc that occur on here ! We get stick on here only right you get it on there .

No one wants to watch this non event. BDO darts is simply not attractive to an audience - fact.

Concentrate on looking after the thousands of us regular players - not a group that to be fair are long past their sell by date.

I will watch it. As many other will. Pub/league darts don't need looking after it runs itself fine.

I’ll watch it too Chris - we are ‘darts people’ but my point stands that the wider public will have zero interest.

Pub darts, yes I maybe agree with you there, but Superleague and County could be run so much better.

Paul, which players got slated? Checked the logs but cannot see one reported post from you complaining about a player being slated, just point them out and we will deal with them.

Can't comment on the facebook group as it is a closed group and access is restricted so you cannot even read it. Did you know that Facebook delete around 70,000 posts a week most of which are deleted because of hate or inappropriate sexual content.

One thing I dont get - We are meant to be darts fans and love the game - The BDO is a big part of the game - Yet people take pleasure in them not doing well - Doesnt make sense does it - We should be helping them - Not constantly taking the mick out of them - Im disappointed in how things are run - But for the good of the game - That we are meant to love - I hope they find a way to turn the tables -
