Depends who is doing it ;)
John Gwynne for example?
When John did Eurosport for us in Jersey BetFred paid him I believe .
So you got a sponsor to pay for something in return for all the publicity?
A novel idea. Don't see it catching on.
Jersey on Eurosport was Europe wide , great deal by Howard Miller to get a sponsor to pay the comms man , think John been with Betfred since his Pdc comma days , not sure what BDO deal was but I know 100% of Jersey as I offered H to go 50/50 on any losses lol

It isn't on all Freeview boxes, this has been said about 100 times previously.

If you don't get any HD channels on your Freeview box, you won't get this channel either.

Great to see the amazing stage set up without having it obscured by the hordes of fans obviously going to be there tonight.

Looks excellent to be fair.

Just hope ‘small crowd’ (oxymoron?) don’t look lost in that venue.

got to say imo best centrally located venue in relationship to a town/ city centre ease of getting to, since the las vegas one (blackpool) looks decent

Multi story car park next to venue (actually got a walk way connecting car park to venue).

Venue just been 'done up'.

And that room, though seats 2,000 (?), is quite compact. Be interesting if any posters who go give their verdict on the venue. I think it's a cracker.

£7 for a small glass of wine according to Tripadvisor.

They will be smuggling the Asda Biere De Luxe in like they did at the Welsh cinema...

From memory : about £3.80 for a pint. Not too bad for a concert venue.

2 bars in foyer. Clean, modern toilet facilities.

If you don't get any HD channels on your Freeview box, you won't get this channel either.
Freesport is on the temporary HD multiplexes which cover only around 60% of U.K. My transmitter Midhurst which covers rural Sussex doesn’t have it but those for Southampton and Brighton do.

If you have an HD decoder then BBC1, 2 ITV, C4 and C5 HD are nationwide.

The best check is can you get BBC News HD. If no then you are out of luck for Freesports.

You can though use the TV Player website and app as internet stream. Need to register though for a free account. This is completely legal U.K. streaming of the Freeview channels ex BBC and a few others like CNN.

More words of wisdom from Madsocks...

"I for one am glad it's on FreeSports, at least i can watch it on the mobile. I'm sure it will be fine, it will get promoted and will get decent viewing figures.

if you want to go and talk negatively about how bad the TV figures will be for a BDO sporting event, TSOD is over that way."
