I miss Zeyes with his doom predictions about timing.

Pity I will be unable to follow the rest of the tournament. Busy with a cycling event.
Bad luck mate.
Also my last session tomorrow night.
As of Friday I will be off the forum for 17 days.
Before people say it's a flounce, best get it in.

I will say for once this event has been split up a lot better no silly 8 hours sessions I think 1st 2 days 12 matches made a long opening day

I love some of the comments by fanatics today.

One man saying it doesnt matter how many attended as he couldnt see the tables as it was dark. By that theory the BDO should have just played the whole tournament in a cupboard.

Another saying that we should be patient for the next couple of events while Freesports sort out the production issues as it is their first venture into darts - not knowing its 24/7 that have been used for the 300th time now.

Another saying the issue is because the PDC world cup is on. The tournament that doesnt start until today......in another country.

And finally someone complaining that 20 people there left mid game and didnt go back to their seats.

So last night our audience was more than twice the size of the audience in the Guild Hall.
Let that sink in for a moment.

Indeed. We had over 100 non-participants watching us talk about BDO darts.
The BDO had less than half that in the hall watching the actual darts.
Truly staggering.

Good session last night - The mens games were high quality - About the same standard as the pro tour - Not bad for a group of players with less practice and less TV exposure - The BDO still has the talent - Its just poorly presented - The commentary was excellent last night - But the camera work was poor - Needs improving -

The 2nd night has more 'Star's' in the line-up. Some meaty ties in the Ladies comp.

Despite the ‘small’ crowd - the darts and venue looked great.
