:DDD: :DDD:
I know, I know, pigs are getting ready to take off at the very idea that the BDO would publicise anything properly. So, as usual, we'll have to rely on Oche on Twitter - a sad state of affairs!
Don't forget about the milkman!

Fair enough. Would be a shame if someone posted something a few minutes later to counteract that.

Have no idea who beat me and Dave Pallett in the last two rounds to qualify for the WDT today, but him and his “team” were a frigging (a word used because I can’t tell the truth) disgrace. Can’t wish well for somebody like that, after already being told off by me for having conversations with his mates behind my back while I’m throwing never mind anything else, and me making a hash of a simple 4-2 win... at 3-3 with me nearly 100 up on his throw his lady friend came racing over in front of me as I was stepping up, stopped me from throwing, just to give him a double vodka red bull (which he necked, illegal in bdo rules)! Seriously!? And then 1 throw later ran across me to go back the other way. Talk about having a Gi(frigging)raffe Just been told had I stopped the game and pointed it out he would’ve been eliminated... never mind... 1 proper game away from WDT FFrigSake slightly tired of this
Oh.
Scum
You would have thought players who have played in Pdc comps especially on TV could cope with a bit of noise etc ! From Taylor farting on the oche, players clicking /encroaching on the oche , players encouraging the crowd to boo etc etc .
I speak as I find William has always played the game fairly when I've seen him ! Which is a damn sight more than the experts on here .
Heard so many times on here that players should be able to play with noise distractions going on .
If he downed a double Vodka and Red Bull by the oche , he's opponent should have told the marker who is the board official and he should have brought it to the attention of a senior official , or for Ginge at least a milk monitor

I think a massive background noise is far less off putting than one voice putting you off.

No because I wasn't there , but will see him Sunday and ask what his version of events was , always listen to both sides of an argument Ginge , other forum members or myself need to hear both sides before "making your minds up "

I would hazard a guess the same Dutch people who did the last one are doing this and Freesports are just taking a feed and adding nothing onto it, as per.

2 weeks to go!

Have they found anyone to pay for this vanity event yet?

Didn't see William there Sunday as we didn't arrive until 2.30pm , but have just spoken to him , 2 things he didn't have a big team with him , he had 2 family members with him , as for a girlfriend getting in front of other players and William necking a vodka red bull he says that didn't happen , he did say there was an older woman pissed up watching who kept walking around and on 2 occasions got in his way as well .
As I say met William on several occasions and it sounded very out of character , he said the woman who was pissed was old enough to be his Ma rather than girlfriend .
Perhaps he got the support of a boisterous crowd as he was the underdog .
I wasn't there so can't back up either story , but 2 spectators is hardly "a team" and the woman was nothing to do with William either !

He has also added that many players were drinking at the event ,and admitted having a swig of Budweiser during a leg , people openly drinking in front of officials and nothing was said or announced about non drinking .
Now that's honesty from the lad as he didn't have to admit that . Problem is at the welsh no separation from playing and spectating areas and spectators literally on your heels .

I can confirm that this was the case. Players on Friday were openly drinking

Hard to police at that event because of the set up and amount of people, as long as it wasn't streamed for me it would be no issue tbh.

It's a pub game, would have no issue with players drinking.

Precisely, the no drinking rule was brought in for TV - no TV no issue
