In term of ticket sales this will be a fiasco.

The general public simply do not know or recognise the top BDO players these days. This event is for die hards only and we all know what happened last year.

A Facebook group with 5000 members who call themselves "fanatics" showed exactly how "fanatical" they really are.

The BDO has lost the TV battle to the PDC and it's a vicious circle. No TV coverage = unknown players = no public interest = no TV coverage.

Just for reference this place is called "the stars of darts"

Are you suggesting the BDO should not be discussed then?
