Results from BDO comps are a disgrace.
Anyone with Knowledge could find them
Scrub darts, what's the point?

I was about to ask what a scrub was but then remembered a scrub is a guy who can get no love from me

Going off Darts database only, and only for ranking events this is as far as I got with the Lakeside mens champion:

Glen Durrant wins Lakeside
Mark McGeeney beats Glen Durrant in final of Dutch Open
Richard Veenstra beats Mark McGeeney in semi final of Scottish Open
Richard Veenstra wins Scottish Open
Daniel Day beats Richard Veenstra in QF of West Fries Open
Ross Montgomery beats Daniel Day in SF of West Fries Open
Wesley Harms beats Ross Montgomery in final of West Fries Open

Doesnt have the recent German Open/Masters on there and even if it did, I dunno what order the matches will have been played in (Masters early stages, Open early stages, then finals of both?) or if Harms even played them. Darts Database doesnt have the early round either, its feasible players above may have entered other events and been knocked out early.

So – because I’m bored at work and can’t be bothered to do anything, I decided to have a crack at this from the first World Championships after the split. I’ve decided to only include majors as it’s easy to find the results of these and I started with the BDO (this would be Worlds, Masters and WDT).

BDO World Champion 1994 – John Part
1994 Masters – Andreas Krockel
1995 Masters – RVB
1995 Masters – Richie Burnett
1995 Masters – Erik Clarys
1996 Masters – Paul Williams
1996 Masters – Roland Scholten
1996 Masters – Colin Monk
1997 Worlds – Paul Williams
1997 Worlds – Les Wallace
1998 Worlds – Steve Beaton
1998 Worlds – RVB
1998 Masters – Dave Askew
1998 Masters – Julian Bullock
1998 Masters – Bjarne Iversen
1998 Masters – Martin Adams
1998 Masters – Les Wallace
1999 Worlds – RVB
1999 Masters – Andy Jenkins
1999 Masters – Marko Pusa
1999 Masters – Wayne Jones
1999 Masters – Andy Fordham
2000 Worlds – Chris Mason
2000 Worlds – Ted Hankey
2000 Masters – Kevin Dowling
2000 Masters – Dave Askew
2000 Masters – Tony O’Shea
2000 Masters – Chris Mason
2000 Masters – John Walton
2001 Masters – Jarkko Komula
2001 Masters – RVB
2002 Worlds – Mervyn King
2002 Worlds – Tony David
2002 Masters – Sergei Vodicar
2002 Masters – Mike Veitch
2002 Masters – Steve Coote
2002 Masters – Tony West
2002 Masters – Mark Dudbridge

The 2002 World Masters appears to be Dudbridge’s only BDO Major attendance – as a result I’m at a loss as to whether to start again from the 2003 Worlds and work forward from there.

I'll start working on the others tomorrow.

I think you'll needs a lot more time to work it all out lol.

I suppose a way of doing it would be to reset it every year at the world championships?

The BDO can't have a lineal men's champion, the line ended with John Lowe left. So the lineal champions are Rob Cross (can be traced all the way back to Leighton Rees) and Lisa Ashton.

Not true it may well be the case that Judas Gregory held it due to his WDC Lada wins and then took it back to the BDO with him before the inaugural WDC World Championships

As some point its possible that the BDO Ladies Lineal title has passed over and is currently head by a man due to Anna's PDC cross over whilst BDO Ladies Champion.

A true lineal title is the man who beat the man (in world championships) so no, Judas does not figure.

No it's not as someone who is consider a Lineal Champion in boxing is the person who beat the last holder. As the Lineal title can change hands after a boxer has been stripped of a title or has retired and returned.

A good example is how Shannon Briggs became World Heavy Lineal Champ when he beat Foreman as neither were a world champion and the fight wasn't for any World Championships.

Definately now it isn't especially not when if its preceded by the word Professional.

But it's also the only trophy used for a Darts World Championships that has Bristow's name on 5 times

Yes. This concept does not work in tournament play.

Unless the Lineal Champion does not play in the event, the winner of any event will always be the new lineal Champion.

Well the BDO amateur side ones could swap over on a County weekend I guess and it then depends if the new lineal champ does the tour or not or it could in theory stay in the BICC forever
