The Scorpion, Danny Lauby, Chuck Puleo, Darin Young and Gary Mawson safely through to the last 32.

Ally Pally qualification still up for grabs.

Good to see that Larry Butler also won his last 64 match beating Ray Ruelan 5-2.

Hopefully with the link up to the PDC and qualification known from the beginning of the year the 2019 season will see more of the stronger players in NA playing the tour in full. It’s a shame the likes of Smith, MacNeil and even Gates making all events. Nice to see Widmayer in the field.

Think if all the players had known of the qualification criteria re Ally Pally at the start of the year they might have planned their season differently. Personally think the biggest absence is Soldier Gates, as he would have been in with a big chance of qualifying for the World Championships. Hoping The Scorpion can deliver 2 huge results over the next 2 days to overtake Mawson and Long for Top Canadian.

Also good to see Widmayer playing well.

Jim Long through to last 32, keeping himself firmly intact in the race for top Canadian place in Ally Pally qualification.

Chuck Puleo and Timmy Nicoll first players through to last 16.

Matt Campbell throws down a 104 average to set up a clash with Young, could Matt change the course of the USA player selection?

Phenomenal darts from Matt Campbell on the live board, averaging 104.4 in a whitewash defeat of Jim Newman to progress to the Last 16.

Was a great match to watch, and from a personal perspective, just hope David can beat the winner of that match, should he win his board final against Jim Long.

Looks like The Scorpion's chances of qualifying for Ally Pally now gone.

Already qualified for the Masters by virtue of his Greater Vancouver Open win, so hopefully he can do himself justice in that tournament.

Event 10 up and running.

Part out after his first match, so unable to follow up on his victory yesterday,.

Danny Lauby, Chuck Puleo, Jim Long, Jim Widmayer, Mike Burns and Timmy Nicoll all through to Last 16 with considerable ease.

Matt Campbell vs Brian McKenzie on the live boat.

Watched Campbell hit a 104.4 average yesterday on the streamed board. Would be good to see him hit simular form in this match.
