Board Statement 16th May 2018

The BDO board of directors are currently in negotiations for a suitable venue to hold the Winmau World Masters 2018. As soon as contracts are signed then an official announcement will be made and Countries will be informed where the venue will be.

So no deal combined with the Guild Hall to take the WDT and Masters. Would also assume that they haven't got the Masters on Freesports either.

Football season will be back in full swing by then, may not be space for it.

Freesports seem to have very limited european football, wouldn’t be an issue you’d think.

And on it current date I think it international break I got feeling it will be on euro sport again

Knew they showed some Portuguese stuff but hadn't looked any further than that. But yes if an international week anyway....suppose it depends if Wayne Williams pisses them off sufficiently or not in 2 weeks time

They do some International friendlies but even so they could fit darts around it you’d think.

Easy fellas - Its months away yet - Plenty more cool ones to be had before then - BDO could do so much more with the Masters - One idea might be to pick a new venue and work with the owners and the local area - Make it a annual local event - Rome wasnt built in a day - A good sales pitch and a fresh lick of paint and the Masters could be what it once was -
