Any luck?

Pieter Verbeek @PVDarts180
Corey Cadby pulled out for the World Series of Darts Finals after breaking his left arm during a car incident (hes right-handed).
He played at the Australian Masters last weekend and even hit a stunning 164 finish.
I think hes still struggling to get a VISA to enter the UK.
I wonder if he plays the oceanics too? What if he wins the tournament and can´t enter UK for the world champs due to visa issues? Will the runner-up get his spot? Or is it one more pdpa qualifier?
No no no no he can't play darts, he broke his arm and the PDC said he can't play!

He can’t even lie properly.

He is already qualified for the worlds via the pro tour. Wether or not he can get a visa in time however is a diffrent matter
Oh, didnt think about that… But anyway: What happens with his spot in Ally Pally if he doesnt get a visa?
Matthew Edgar is first reserve for Ally Pally I believe

Anyway, can we get back to the issue of the PDC lying about the reason why Cadby couldnt play in the World Series of Darts Finals?

So why has he been seen playing darts and firing in 164 outshots?

Come on Oche, wake up. He obviously cant even get a Schengen visa for Austria and this is just a smokescreen. He can clearly play darts if he wanted to even if he had broke his bloody arm :WWWW:

Small rectification. I noticed he played one single match (and some pairs and team games) he won that game 3-0 but hit 27-28 and 21 dart legs. Thats 60 average.

I have no doubts he really broke his arm, but not sure if that is the real reason to pull out. Anyway strange decision to play these events instead.

PDC announced on September 18 that Cadby was replaced for World Youth Championship, which is after World Series Finals. Must be for VISA reasons or his broken arm. But if he had broken his arm at that time already, he had seven weeks to recover before World Series Finals.

Exactly even the Europeans, in this case Austria don’t want to let him in with his criminal record. At least U.K. think the same as we stop him as well.

I understand the brits clamping down on giving out visas especially to people with criminal records.
but then on the other hand the aussies have no problem in allowing british and dutch criminals in to their country.
Taylor has a criminal conviction, Klaasen should not be left in any country by the same standard

Don't think Jelle has any criminal convictions.

He has. He was sentenced to community service.

I bow to your superior knowledge of the Dutch legal system.

Obviously I am wrong, but thought I had read that he made a deal out of court that meant he avoided a criminal record.

Wouldnt be the first time the PDC have lied about why a player cant play in an event.
